On-site welding without hauling the job to a shop
Some jobs can't move. A cracked bucket on an excavator, a broken trailer frame, a gate that's already hung, a pipe run that's already in the ceiling. Berto's mobile rig is a self-contained welding truck: an engine-driven welder, cable reels and diamond-plate boxes full of tools and consumables. We park as close as access allows, run leads to the work, and weld it where it sits.
That saves you the cost and downtime of loading, trucking and unloading heavy equipment, and it means repairs to structures and installed systems can happen in place instead of being cut out and carried away.

What we weld on site
- Heavy equipment and attachment repairs: buckets, blades, brackets, hitches and frames
- Trailers, truck decks and flatbeds, plus mounts, racks and tool box brackets
- Structural steel: beams, columns, base plates, canopies, mezzanine framing and stair stringers
- Gates, railings, fences and security bars for homes, strata and commercial buildings
- Field pipe welding, including Red Seal A Class pressure pipe work
- Aluminum and stainless repairs, including marine work at the dock
- Maintenance and shutdown support for industrial and commercial facilities
Steel, stainless and aluminum all come off the same truck, so a single visit can cover a mixed list of repairs.
How a mobile welding call works
- Call or book online. Tell us what's broken or what needs building, where it is, and send photos if you can. Photos help us bring the right material and consumables the first time.
- We confirm scope and timing. Berto's talks through the job with you, flags anything that affects the work, such as access, parking or materials, and confirms the booking.
- The rig comes to you. We set up, protect the area around the work and get welding.
- Walkthrough before we leave. We go over the finished work with you before we pack up.
Booking details and the 4-hour minimum
Mobile welding is booked with a 4-hour minimum. That covers travel and set-up on short jobs and gives enough time on site to finish most repairs properly instead of rushing them. Pricing is job-dependent; call 778-918-5581 and we'll give you a clear picture of what the job takes.
Need more hands? For larger commercial and industrial projects, shutdowns or tight schedules, Berto's can supply crews of up to 15 certified welders. One call gets you a coordinated crew instead of chasing individual subcontractors.
Why contractors and owners call Berto's
- Work led by a Red Seal A Class Pressure Pipe Welder; Berto's is CWB certified
- 18 years of experience across BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan
- Steel, stainless and aluminum from one truck
- Straight talk on what the job takes, and a personal response when you call
